Hi All,
I just received an email from Elizabeth Page at business development, Denver. A manager from their group at RandomCorp delivered a presentation to senior management at McKinley Corporation, a key RandomCorp customer. The presentation was about ‘e-storage on demand’, an important growth area for RandomCorp. Our communication group was sent the following:

1. Powerpoint presentation
2. Video of the presentation and the question and answer session that followed
3. PDF document of the handout given at the presentation to all attendees
4. White papers on ‘e-storage on demand’
5. An email note from the manager about the presentation
6. Photographs of the event

I have placed these materials in the filestore so that you can review them.

The communication group has been entrusted with the task of creating a microsite. This site will be primarily viewed by new business development groups at all RandomCorp locations. This will help them plan similar presentations that they may make to other corporation. Senior management at RandomCorp who have expressed a high interest in the ‘e-storage on demand’ initiative will also view the site. It was also indicated that sites like the one created for this content would be required for similar presentations on other key RandomCorp initiatives in the next few months.

In the next 3 weeks we have to create this microsite. I know we have created sites in the past, but I believe they didn’t work that well, and our clients weren’t too happy. I want to get it right this time…. all eyes are on us.

Elizabeth wants to see some kind of an outline by end of the week. She said she can answers questions during the week via email.

So any ideas on what our first step should be? What kind of documents we need to create to communicate our vision of the site based on their goals?
