Welcome to Comicslab's
Comics 101 course. So you want to be a comic book creator? Good for you..good for you. I am Avi. I am a comic book editor at Fantastic Comix. I will be your tutor for the Course Comics 101. Let me tell you something about this course. The goal of this course is to help you transition from the role of a comic book reader to a comic book creator. In the Comics101 website, you will find tutorials and lessons organized into 3 sections. The course is intended to be taken sequentially, starting with the section "The Basics". Each section has practice quizzes and activities. Once you complete the quizzes and activities for a section, you can move on to the next section. |

| The course takes a month to complete. I enroll 10 students at a time who work collaboratively on activities and give feedback and support to each other througout the duration of the course. Students can email me their queries and clarifications at any time. We will use the discussion board throughout the course to share ideas. You will find text and graphic files in the filestore for some of the activities. |  |
